the transistors get to 113 degrees C during a light volume with stereo music playing.

Same for both channels?

Yep...both channels...im using an infrared thermometer gun....so there is something giving that reading on both channels. Although im not too alarmed by that number. I can turn the amp off and feel around bare-handed and cannot feel anything hot. I have to wait about 10 seconds, and then the caps drain down to a safe voltage.

Idk guys. I bet if i put a 4 ohm load on the bad channel it would short the collector-emitter junction again. I didnt find anything....sorry

I don't think that high transistor temperature is normal at low output.
Are the transistors well mounted to their heatsinks?

...... and, did you get the replacement transistors from a reliable source? There are lots of fakes out there.

Nope it popped with 8ohms nothing got hot...nothing sounded weird. Just playing nice quiet guitar and the pop! Dimbulb lit up and it was gone again.....
