Hi all,
This is my back up amp, I have a problem with the footswitch connection port input on the amp which is increasingly refusing to send a signal to the switch.
The port can be moved within it's housing by wiggling the cable and if the cable is held upwards it tends to connect, so the port must have come away from the pcb or there is a dry joint or similar.
I am reasonably confident with a soldering iron, but before I attempt a repair, is there anyone with knowledge of these amps who can advise how tricky it is to gain access to the PCB that hosts the damaged port?
Also can anyone advise where to source a new port?
Many thanks.
