Hey all!
I just got a Jamm Professional amp; it was on the attic of a friend for a long long time. It is a 8x EL34 amp with a solid state preamp. Love the tone from the unit but sometimes I miss some stuff from her....... one big thing to miss is a tube preamp. Other tubes in the head are a 12AX7 and an ECC85. It has the biggest transformers I've seen in a while.
-. Someone ever heard from these amps or can provide me with a schematic?

Second thought is to mod it. Tube preamp is a slight must but also the poweramp could need something more........ 8x EL34 is nice but I really prefer the sound of 6550's (I'm a bass player btw). Could I swap the EL34's with 4 6550's (with some bias and other values change) or am I thinking too "easy"????
