Recently purchased a Gallien Krueger MB150S-III combo. Great little amp! Found out afterwards there is also a Gallien Krueger MB150E-III. The 'S' is the standard model while the 'E' has some extra features like a Parametric EQ, Stereo Chorus, Boost circuit, etc. otherwise they are nearly identical. Dont really need the chorus or EQ but that boost circuit adds the "classic" GK growl tone which I really like and I have no idea why they didn't include that on the S model to begin with. It seems like such a simple circuit however, so im wondering if I couldnt just mod my S somehow to insert that between the pre & power amp. Any amp gurus wanna give this a go? I attached all the schematics I could find on it.
