    There are several 15-watters I'd love to have: Matchless Spitfire/Lightning, Gibson Goldtone GA-15, 5E3 Deluxe, and Divided by 13 CJ11 (a modern take on the 5E3). I'd decided to build one as a project - tough call to pick out my favourite - but then I noticed that the EL84 power amps are practically identical; ditto with the 6V6's. So why not build a "hub" box with one set of transformers, the power amps, and any other sharable bits and pieces like rectifiers? Separate preamps would connect to the hub.

    Probably the best way to explain it is to show you where I've got to with the schematics so far:

    This is kind of stretching my capabilities a bit so I'd really appreciate your comments to make sure I haven't done anything stupid.
