    Ok, Thank you

I guess the guys at Metro are catering to that camp that believes in removing all silicooties from a tube signal path for a TRUE bypass. I don't see any reason the loop couldn't be shorted in to out for the exact same result. I'll modify the layout again.
"Take two placebos, works twice as well." Enzo

"Now get off my lawn with your silicooties and boom-chucka speakers and computers masquerading as amplifiers" Justin Thomas

"If you're not interested in opinions and the experience of others, why even start a thread?
You can't just expect consent." Helmholtz

I seriously doubt rev.4 is very different from rev.3.
it is different,in the return stage,if someone posts pics front and back its possible to trace it.

        Hi,
I just wanted to share a few videos of my amateur attempt to install the Metro Zero Loss effects loop into my Chupacabra. I chose the simple route initially to see what it gave me. No mods done to the master volume.

sounds ok,i guess with those pedals you have to stay in the -20dB setting, that DE7 has low headroom.

Funny thing is, it sounds better when I have the board dip switch at +4.

This discussion might be inactive for some time now but I found some interesting info here and I thought to give back some feedback. I recently installed an lnd150 fx loop clone (made by kld amps in china) in an kld 5e3 clone amp i built. I initially put the fx loop before the master volume that was just before the phase inverter grid and the tone was overall very dull (a lot of treble got lost on the way). I don't know exactly why since without the loop everything worked just fine. The loop was powered by B+3 witch had 250V. I switched the fx loop position just after the Master volume and between MV and PI and everythins is working very nice. There is almost no difference between the loop and no loop (i have installed also a bypass switch to remove the loop from the circuit so i can see the diferences) and the two send/receive pots from the loop board are all i need to fine tune the levels. So there you go you can insert a loop after MV with no problems.
