    Yeh it was a good thread. The reason Im restoring my trem was because when I bought it in its original form the trem channel was weaker than the other. So, I dont know that the original opto would solve anything. One thing I didnt like about the circuit was the 'slow' setting wasnt very slow. Changing that 4.7Meg resistor to a 10Meg pot with another 5Megs attached to it made all the difference. I have incredible range of frequency and a lot of depth. Good stuff.

      I agree, I usually find trems adjust from too fast up to stupid fast. I routinely slow them down. C9,10,11 and R19,20,21,22 are the feedback path for the LFO. Their combined RC time constants determine the trem rate. Since I usually have to replace the old leaky caps anyway, I most times replace the caps with larger values. But increasing the resistors does the same thing.
