Hi, I'm new to the forum. And, I am desperately in need of some advice.
I bought a used fender twin all tube about 6 weeks ago. It's my first tube amp, so I'm lost. I have been using it frequently in-studio at low volume on the 1/4 power setting to reduce bleed over on the drums. Today I switched to the full power setting to run through a song live before recording, halfway through the song the amp cut out...to almost no sound. The red LED was still on and the amp still had a low volume hiss. But, there was no actual guitar signal coming through on either setting (1/4 or full power). Not sure if it is a bad tube(s) or what. Also, no signal coming from Pre-amp output or effects loop. The main power fuse is in working condition. I had a few extra tubes...so I replaced each tube, one at a time, tested it, and tried the next.
Has anyone else had this problem? Or, have an idea of what may need to be changed.
