Screens Still weak in EH6V6?
Having recently acquired a new Deluxe Reverb Reissue, I am concerned about the stock GT EH6V6 output tubes.They sound great , but....
I like to crank it up quite a bit ,are the screens still a weak point in these tubes?
I was wondering if there had been a design tweak(of the EH6V6) since the introduction of this tube.
Does anyone who likes to crank up their DRRI still use the EH6V6 or does anyone that knows better go with JJ or NOS?
BTW, amp is still under warranty, so increasing the value of screen resistors isn't really an option.
Can we prod this dead horse just a bit?
