M-Vave (frmr Cuvave) switch-on gap issue

Is anyone familiar with this pedal?


When you switch it on, there's a gap, it mutes for about a second.

I was thinking replacing the switch with a true bypass and leave it always on but was wondering if anyone else here had modded one or was able to fix it somehow. It's a Chinese pedal that goes by several names, some folks are rebranding it and reselling in the West under different brands. Same circuit tho and the main tell-tale is the switch-on sound gap.
