Hi guys...I have a 'Varitone type' box that I have loaded with 8 diff cap values linked to an inducter, blah blah.
They all work great but when I get to .10 and .22uF, the tone is there but they are very quiet.
They are supposed to create a 'single coil' tone...are too many bass frequencies rolled off across the board leading to the loss in volume which you then have to enhance with a touch of O/d or distortion?
