    WHOA! that's it!!

Love your post in other groups Analogguru! Thank you!

It's still interesting to me that DOD use a different board for this. That's
got to be rare. And crazy that the 'real' 650 is an entirely different animal.

I can't help but think what this would fetch on Ebay now but, unless times
get a lot tougher I'm going hold on to it.

Thanks a ton to Mark & Analogguru I admire both of you guys!

Well I guess that pretty much cinches it, doesn't it? Funny, though, how the board has the "wrong" number. Well, at least I got a schematic out of it! I also learned something in the process about how the actual 650 mini-amp works.

      So, thank you, Mr. "fan"

i have the same board, dod650 printed on board, wired with no case. my ic is a sk9147 and not like a dod250...less parts alot of sizzly distortion borderline fuzz...i just moved and the board is packed away...i do have a trace sketch and parts photo ...ive had this board for 20 year plus...and has always been a mystery...possible early prototype perhaps?

SK9147 is from the old RCA SK line of replacements. It is like an NTE937. It is just a generic single op amp, like the 741.
