  • Early EH Microsynth headaches...

Hi Folks. I do hope you can help me. I'm trying to fix my junk ebay microsynth- it's been 'worked on' and I'm not sure if the interconnecting wires are correct. It's the version with the built-in mains transformer and the 5554 regulator. If anyone could post pictures of the complete guts as they SHOULD be they'd be doing me a massive favour. It passes signal but no change is detectable to the sound. I'd love to get it sorted. I'm fine with Hammonds and quite a lot of analog synth stuff but this one is doing me in.. something very silly and possibly very simple can't be right..

..and yes, we've got +/- 12v to everything. THAT bit at least we've sorted.

any help, especially pictures of the wiring between assemblies or even a schematic that actually relates to this version (where there are no component numbers on the board! AARGH!) would be very much appreciated. What makes this worse is that one of the guys in our rehearsal building has a working one so I know what I'm missing out on..

    Thanks in anticipation,

    mm xx
