I want to use a looper pedal live and like the simplicity of the Helicon Ditto. However... When stacking tracks through a single amp, the riffs and cords really cross modulate when you are overdriving the amp. I would like to mic the amp into a looper and run the looper output through the PA. Then be able to solo through the amp without the loops included and with the loops playing through the PA recorded from the miked amp. It seems an impossible thing to do without also using an A/B switch. Most simple loop pedals don't seem to have a separate pass through and a separate loop out. It seems strange to me that the pedals are designed this way since it would be my first consideration. Any suggestions?
