    I would switch the primary side of the supply on and off. I'm not sure what your objective is here and why you would want to power everything off, but I guess that's not relevant to your question? If you switch off the primary side of your supply off instead of the secondary, the supply should decay more slowly instead of a sudden cutoff.

    On off switch on a 9v pedal daisy chain

    Hi all, Ive been installing a bunch of fx pedals into a 19 rack box. I wanted to add an On Off switch the the PSU chain. However although this works I can see the PSU flashes on off when the switch I have added is turned off. Any ideas. Apologies in advance im new to electronics? Johnny
