I use this all of the time when checking to see how well a tablet or other device is charging. One question I have always wondered about is whether a particular device charges faster when powered off or sleeping or are they the same? The answer I have come up with using this tester is that hot batteries usually charge slower if everything else is the same. For the devices I've already tested they seem to draw the same current whether on or off which means that they should charge faster since most of the current should be going into the battery.
