Washburn Preamp

A while ago i bought this washburn fully loaded body (minus neck)


And it came with this preamp installed.

Unfortunately, when i tried the preamp, nothing happened, except it made a strange noise, which i found out to be a blown power cap

I replaced it, and the strange sound went away. But still no noise modification occurred when activated.
I checked with washburn's site, and i cant find any reference to it.

If you want any more info on it, let me know, ill see what i can do. The Chip says lf442cn.

Ive had this thing for about 2 years now, i want it to work, i dont know how.

Folow the signal & see where it drops out.
I would look at the output pins 1 & pin 7 of the opamp.
Verify that pin 8 has power.
