What Potentiometer configuration does this guitar use? Ive opened up the back plate but these pots don't seem to have much information written on the backs. My volume pot is giving me allot of static and I want to re-solder a new one in place. I'm also unfamiliar with the taper type. If I had to make a wild guess I would say Audio Taper. Anybody know what volume pot I need for this guitar? I think I should be ok with the soldering. I have a pretty steady hand but iv'e never actually replaced a pot before. What solder is best for the Job? Ive heard 60/40 rosin core is good. I have a 25 Watt Iron. Is that powerful enough?
