How to improve the quality of guitar

please watch my guitar which I buy in exhibation, I want to improve it.
would you mind giveing me some ideas
1. Could I change cable by shield cable?
2.use presioue VR in knob
3. using good pickup
4.tone capacitor.
What about the wood effect on qulity of guitar.
