These are nice sounding pickups btw in case anyone was wondering. I've got one in the neck position in my Epiphone Dot and its perfect in there.

Those are probably my favorite Duncans. Very nice sounding pickups.

(note to self; get some A2 bars...)

            Thanks,
I thought they were higher wound because the guitar sounds like having more treble and less bass but maybe it is the tone of the Mockingbird itself.

Doesn't he have a Floyd on that guitar? In my experience, that adds a bit more top end and a bit less bottom compared to a TOM.

Plus the Mockingbird is all maple.

Was his Mockingbird a "through neck" i cant remember. I think the stock pickup would have been DiMarzio super distortion, but i know he put A2 pro's on everything

.... except the vintage stuff of course.

Yes a neck through. If it's an old 'bird it would be DiMarzio SDHB, or actually Dual Sounds, but they are the same of course.

If it's a newer one they would be Rockfields. I'm not sure if it's an old one, unless he had the Floyd installed.

                    Here's the unofficial Slash model:
