Fender "Red-Bobbin" pickups

Anybody have any specs or info on these? They were apparently used in the 82/62 Reissue Strat. I've heard some people say beveled mags, others say non-beveled. Some say 10-11k, others say 5-6k. It's an inigma, I tell you!

They sound kind of A3'ish to me in this clip
