Lee Valley Magnets?

I got one of those strat single coil kits from stewmac and am learning a lot, seems to be going smoothly so far. Now I am ready to magnetize but dont have magnets to do it. So I searched around a bit locally to see if some stores had magnets and someone suggested Lee Valley. So I checked the site and they had these:

Would these work. I'd probably have to get the biggest ones right?

Yep, those would work. And I just may pop into the store on the way home tonight (I live 5 minutes from the headquarters) and get me some now that I actually read the screen and realized they were priced for packs of 5 in the larger sizes. Are you within driving distance, or are you going to order them for shipping?

Thanks. Well they have free shipping right now so I might just do that.

that's what I use and they work great for me. Just set them up in a jig and you're good to go.

I have 4 3/4" discs on either side of a vice. If you stack them they get much stronger but I don't find it necessary.

And don't forget to get the cups to attach them to a wood surface with.

BTW, I picked up some 3/4" mags last week and was able to very easily recharge some polepieces. Unfortunately, none of the experimental polepieces I was trying outtook a charge particularly well. Guess I should stick with the tried and true materials.
