    Yes. I experimented with SS blades. Bright and midrangy. They were kind of harsh sounding. I stopped using it, but as with anything else, it could be just the thing for a certain design.

          I haven't tried that yet. You would think that it would be bright because of the absense of wire which would affect the inductance.
