The stuff still made is pretty good but not as good as the old Essex wire, which was consistenly made to one dimension, like 42 was almost always .0027" the current wire is more like .00265" You'd think a small change like that wouldn't matter but it sure as shit does....

      Yep, it's ridiculous, more than double the cost of the wire. I'm down here too and laughed when I received the shipping quote.
