  • Pickup winding book for sale on site 2/22/10

Finally i will have the book back for sale on my website next monday 2/22/10
price of printing went way up in 10 years and I print these in small quantities so its expensive. I am selling it for $60 plus shipping
Be one of the hordes and minions managing your own pickup making sweat shop right here in the usa.
Its mostly the same book it was- I didnt have time to add or redo much, it has a new preface and materials source list and publications list and a few minor editorial overlooks were attended to but its pretty much the same.
there you go- that will hopefully stop the $500 a copy bootlegs. That was so strange

Can I buy one and sell it for $500 on eBay?

Better yet, sign a copy and then I'll sell it on eBay for a $1000!

I once sold a nine year old EH Russian Big Muff on eBay for more money than they were currently selling for new! Go figure!

Seriously, I'm looking forward to getting one of these for my library (book shelf).
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

thanks you guys. I put a copy on ebay yesterday buy it now $65 just so it would be up there and people would see its republished and not buy collectors items- I guess thats what they are- but it sold within 2 minutes of posting it so I am thinking about just putting a one page- basically an advertisement for the book- printed on a single piece of piece of paper and leave it up on ebay for a couple bucks- if someone buys it I will just put another up- basically a flier for the book notifying people its back in print so watch out for fakes selling for huge amounts. sorry for all of you that didnt sell thier used copy in time!

Believe it or not, my local public library still has two copies of the third edition in circulation. I recently checked it out and read it. Parts of it were very interesting to me, parts of it were beyond my comprehension. But a friend of mine read it, and he has nearly completed 3 winders based on salvaged sewing machine motors.

It pays to be on the forum.

Some poor chowder head paid $100 today for the 2nd edition on fleabay. All jokes aside (david) Maybe a few signed copies set aside for the old loyals here? It'd be nice.

Just wondering if there's enough time to flip one on Ebay before the news gets out!
