Greetings all,
This is my first post to this forum. I'm a noob but am enthusiastically plunging into making my own pickups. I may have the odd question now and again but I am looking forward to experimenting and learning to build from my own experiences. Something I have been thinking about for a while is building a test jig guitar and bass to swap pups in and out in a matter of seconds/minutes. Do any of you here use these? I'm guessing that routing out the body on one of my old beaters would affect the tone somewhat but it would still give a fair approximation of the pickups tonality. I look forward to hearing any input you may have. Thanks a bunch,
Tobias
