Anyone Rewound Filtertrons? (which wire for desired DC resistance?)

I have no experience with these, but I have a new set I'm going to rewind. Coils are very small. Hoping to get about 5k on the neck with 43 AWG. Want to get around 7.8k on the bridge...not sure if I can get there with 44 AWG?

Anyone rewound these before? Think I can get the desired DC resistance with the fore mentioned gauges of wire? I may have to do a couple dry runs to determine what wire gets me where...but I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

No need to mention 5k of 43AWG does not equal 5k 44AWG...I am well aware of that...I have my reasons.

My notes say 3200 turns for the neck, and 3600 turns for the bridge of 44AWG on each coil. I don't know how accurate it is though.

Even though I don't have my "little black book" with me, from what I remember, David Schwab is spot on.

3000 per bobbin of 43 gauge is around 6K - those published specs I have seen too are incorrect, vintage filtertrons are about 4.5 k
