You don't want to use acid flux solder on electrical connections, we're talking 2 electrical solder joints on baseplates, not counting putting covers on. I've never seen stainless used for electrical connectors before.http://www.SDpickups.com

It's not true that SS is not used for electrical things - lots of RF connectors are made of passivated SS, largely for physical strength.
Anyway, this is only for grounding a shield (and physically attaching it), carrying no significant current.
