David offered to measure 42AWG and 43AWG... , but we went on based on this idea, and as result we conducted addition experiment.
We took 43 AWG POLY and made a pickup with the same NT like in the first experiment here.
Second pickup here is PE pickup from the same experiment.
And the third pickup is a "dark horse" using PE. It is identical to "dark horse" from latest experiment except the wire type used(POLY).
AFC of the third pickup is extremely close to its POLY analog, it took us 6 coils to reach this goal.
To ilustrate this community additional nuances we added some samples using drive effect(AMP lead channel drive).
We made this because sometimes when you listen to guitar sound you can hear it is pretty much clean clear and beautiful
,
but if you will change circumstances, Band Playing or live concert, you can hear totally different story,
the sound may begin to dissolve just because pickup is with a clothespin on the nose itself, pickup with drive effect can turn into porridge...
So:
1)43AWG POLY
2)42AWG PE
3)42 AWG PE with the same NT.
