Very nice video! Your potting scares me though, I used to do the double boiler method like you but somehow it flashed and caught fire, second degree burns on a few of my fingers...wasn't fun at all! I know you know what you're doing but Murphy can strike anyone!

What I do for potting is to use a paraffin warmer thats intended for people to stick their hands in. They are not expensive, come with wax, and can safely be left on 24 hours a day, not that I see a need for that. Once the wax has melted it regulates the temperature. I got mine from Amazon for about $30.
Nice video. Two things, there's no need to check your DC resistance while you are winding. Just wind to the same number of turns for that pickup each time and you are good to go.

Could These Video Post's be Moved to the Beginners Corner.
These Would be good references for Beginners to refer to.
Most of the Folks that hang in the regular Forum already Know most of what you Have Covered.
But, would be great for those of us Learning the Basics.
