    I'm using nylon 66, mostly for gap fill properties.

    It is a pretty good material. It also takes a tint very well so I can make antique white and cream out of the white just by staining with coffee or tea.

    It can not be electroplated. ABS is one of the few (only?) plastics that can.

      I thought electroplating plastic was just a matter or getting a layer of conductive paint to stick and putting a base layer of copper over that. The paint can probably "burn" into the abs.
