turns ratio vs tone change?

Hi all. Can anyone tell me what change in "turns" or DC resistance contitutes the smallest change in tone? For example, I doubt one could hear the difference between 6.42k and 6.43k, (all else being equal). But what is the degree of change where anyone would likely hear the difference?

I can usually hear the difference when changing the number of turns by about 200.

its a gradual thing, it depends on your sensitivity and experience
