I haven't seen anyone mention this, but I was making up some special flatwork and decided to try something I have used for cutting printed circuit board material.
Sounds a little crazy, but it works great - a paper cutter, the kind with the arm that swings down.
The forbon cuts much easier than PCB stock actually, and you can get a nice straight edge.
