Hot rails

Hello guys
I have had 3 hot rails for strat and try to rewind them but now i don't know how to wind all the 6 blads.
Must be like CCW or CW for all 6 blades ?????
I use 43 AWG wire but some how it dosn't sound good in 2 and 4 of the 5 way swith!!!?????
Can some one please help me out with this

Ah, this boys and girls is why we take careful notes when taking things apart so we can know how to put them back together again.

I keed, I keed.

If the pickups are fine soloed and it is just in positions 2 and 4, you probably just need to reverse the phase of the middle pickup.

Wind them just like regular humbuckers.
Wind All Coils the same direction.
If you want the out of phase quake, you may have to rev. polarity the middle pickup like Funky said!

make sure you put the magnets in all the same way. If one of the magnets is reversed the pickup will be out of phase.

Also, as Terry said, they are probably all wound in the same direction for all the coils.
