They are pretty good sounding pickups, but an oddball design, I guess they were trying to be Gibson's version of Super Distortion pickups. I have a set and there are 3 ceramic magnets in them, the coils are shielded with copper tape. One of them is actually wound on TTop bobbins, 12 screws in each pickup. I think Gibson still makes them though they probably dont sound like the originals I bet. The TTop bobbin one has long leg baseplate and the other has short legs, both have stamped patent numbers on the bottom.
