  • smoothing bobbins

Got some GJ bucker bobbins recently. In this batch there are a lot of jagged edges from the injection molding especially in the internal areas within the flanges. I've generally used 600 grit sand paper to smooth things out.

What do you guys use to smooth out the larger chunks of jagged plastic to prevent shorts?

Good tools= Good work. The Files are cool too. They beat the nail files.....the nail files fall apart, and some of the material can end up in the waxing pot, creating really nice looking swirls of scratches if thats your thang......

I've never had a metal diamond nail file fall apart... I sometimes use needle files to smooth places I can't reach with a larger file.
