Just wanted to check and see if these magnets would work ok

It's been awhile since I bought Neos for charging. Will these guys work ok for charging bar magnets? Not worried about rod mags, not an issue for me. Neo Mags Ebay

David, I was reading about how it's fairly easy to get an inconsistent charge with bar mags. How would you set up all four of these guys to do the best job possible? Obviously, I would love to buy a Magnetool charger, but that's still a little ways down the road. I do, however, have a drill press, so I could use that or a vice. Either way...

The vise seems to work very well. You just need a magnetic circuit in a "C" shape to get the job done. Some folks here seem to think that passing the alnicos through the gap without actually touching the neos is good. i'm not sure it makes a difference but I don't know. You can make a little non-magnetic sled to keep them a few thousandths away and see if you can hear any difference. I let mine slam into the neos a few times and that certainly drives the charge home too.
