Newbie --- single coil flatwork/covers

Okay, I'm ready to take the plunge and try winding a few pickups. I'm putting in a StewMac order to get started, but some people have posted that the StewMac covers don't fit their flatwork. If I get all the other parts from StewMac, will the AllParts or GP covers fit well?

I use GJ covers with Stewmac flatwork and they go together just fine.
