I have been known to take a turn on the mic when the beer's flowing.
The only time one of my little jokes went down like a turd in a water strike was when I was best man at my brother's wedding.
Being a tight-fisted bugger he bought a second hand wedding ring which had the inscription 'I Love You' engraved inside. The ring was way too big for him so, being the big hearted guy I am, I insisted on getting it resized at my expense.
Well to be fair the guests all pissed themselves when I pointed out in my speech that the inscription now read 'I O You'. His new Mother-In-Law hasn't spoken to me to this day.
Fuck, I thought it was inspirational !
