Tele + Jag = humbucker?
I have recently been looking into building my own guitar. I want to get the most different tones I can out of it, so I thought of a pickup design that would provide 3 very different tones if it works. I'm hoping someone who knows about pickup design could let me know if this is possible and if it would sound good.
My idea is:
Coil 1 - tele neck pickup
Coil 2 - rwrp Jaguar neck pickup
I would use seymour duncan's triple shot (link below) to have the option to run one coil at a time or both in series.
Would this work?
Would the dark tele coil and the bright jag coil create a neutral-ish humbucker?
