I echo Possum's bid for Magnetic Hold. For smaller orders, say 1000 pcs. Shea has about the best price when comparing US distributors.

      Ningbo

I dealed with those Ningbo guys two years ago.
The pricing was good but you have to buy a load because they charge a MOULDFEE .I ended up with 3000 PAF style magnets........ I had ordered some stuff from Allstar in the past month ,I think the A2 they send me is A5 but the A8 was real.
I would order from differnt suppliers because the magnets in the end sound not the same. That can be interesting ........
      cheers

I like Magnetic Hold quite a bit, and Shea's one of the nicest guys I've ever dealt with in business, but they sure don't seem to have a lot in stock at any given time. My last order was for 400 Alnico 5 rods (.187 x .750) and he only had 100 and the rest will be here in "3-4 weeks." Maybe I just hit him at a bad time, but I would think he'd always have a few thousand of those in stock. Just figure in a lead time if you want to purchase a quantity from him.

        Cheers,

"I emailed GJ and received no response about wholesale purchasing. I clearly stated it was to build pickups not resell parts. Given his listed prices Kersting is much cheaper."

Hmmm, whos GJ now? Please enlighten me...

My last order to Shea took about 5 weeks. Nice magnets, but a little slow..
