Did you miss this whole thread?

    Greetings from Japan

    That will explain everything.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

This supplier is my Japanese distributor. I've been working closely with him for a few years now on various things. He has a long history in the guitar industry, and is now striking out on his own. I've helped him source some of the parts.

      Gimmie a call.

I hope he can beat these HIGH PRICES $$$ over here (USA).. and supply better quality to boot... that would be a blessing.

Well, the current list does'nt look so promising in regards to price- Almost double for keepers with 10 HOLES? Bobbins and covers are a bit more too....

Definately pricey. Strat flatwork sets for $4? Without eyelets installed? 0.187 mags are 50% higher than my last order. Damn, I was excited too...

Way too much crappin' where you sleep on this site. If they're too expensive, don't buy 'em. Then we'll have to hear how there are no parts available. This guy is trying to get up and running and 3/4 of the "builders" here have been kicking him in the nuts from the get go. It's long been proven that more than one source makes the going easier when supplies get short. Might want to give this guy a break.

Skinnywire, I agree in part with what you are saying, however would you buy at those prices? I don't think his intention is to be the "last resort", but a viable source of pickup parts. For the components I need, not sure about others, he is over priced. If nobody buys and he's not made aware of why, he'll just disappear.

Yeah skinny , way too much crappin on here , we have heard it all before and it tends to drag , there are parts available and for less money but if you want to pay more then go ahead , no one is stopping you..
No one is kicking anyone here but we do have a right to ask whats happening , being as no one seems to know or wants to answer , or tell us how are orders are going , which I would think means that we are at least prepared to give him a go in the first place...Nearly 3 weeks waiting to see what is happening with an order is way too long , on the other hand if you think thats acceptable then go for it..

.. good luck in your ordering - I hope he follows thru in a timely fashion.
I doubt I'll ever need his offerings....

                          ....

He has parts you can't get anywhere else, just ask for what you need. You can't get the best quality bucker cover covers over here for instance and he has access to the good stuff. The more you patronize him the more offerings he'll be able to offer. I've already put my order in for a bunch of unplated bucker covers. He is shipping end of February so get your orders in NOW!

I'm amongst the biggest sceptics here but I think we need people like Montreaux. I also suspect the current prices are likely to come down.
Give the guy a chance to get established.

I know who this guy is and he is a very good contact for all sorts of parts, and I also know Wolfe wouldn't steer us wrong, but the problem I have is that he is yet to reply to any of my questions in any way, then I get an advertising email, same as Pupoholic and still no info about dimensions, shipping costs etc... I ask if magnets really 0.215" thick, or 0.125" thick and hole spacing for plastic covers for J.Bass, Strat etc... No reply at all.
