This is a set of stacked singles I got in part payment for building a guy an amp. Not sure who made them. Appears to be garolite flatwork, masking tape wrap and wax potted. Mags are hand bevelled and "appear" to be one long piece. The buggers are also about and inch and a quarter tall. Make it hard to install in a strat without routing the body I would think.

http://music-electronics-forum.com/s...ead.php?t=7262It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

The Fender Noiseless pickups use Samarium Cobalt magnets that run right through. They have a thick steel plate between each bobbin. Very difficult to repair as the plastic bobbins are designed to melt with the slightest application of heat.
Curious to know if those phenolics are any good Chevalij. They look shit; no offence.sigpic Dyed in the wool

Hey Spence, I'm not traumatized by your comments. I haven't even popped them into a body yet to see how they would sound. I was, like I said curious if anybody knew who made them. I was told they're about 10 years old.

Never seen them before but I would be tempted to hold onto them. Someone somewhere will know what they are and in a few years they may crop up as being desireable as these things often do.sigpic Dyed in the wool
