Hi all. This will be my first post here. It was exciting to find others with the same interest and goals. I am looking foward to satisfying some curiosities and finding even more things to be interested in. Woo hoo!
I've been winding my own for a while and really find it interesting how subtle differences change the characteristics of pickups, inductance, capacitance, and tone. What I have yet to measure is frequency response.
Does anyone have a good way of finding this value without using a scope? I am not opposed to getting one, would like to start with basic tools first. It would seem that having inductance and capacitance values would be a good start for an equation but I have not found anything yet.
Cheers, and thanks in advance,
Magnut
