Has anyone got any info on Jonh Suhr's pickups? I have just ordered a Suhr custom standard and would like to know a bit more about them, The pickups i have gone with are the DSV / 60's lp / and the DSH+. The DSH+ is wound to 17k!, Thats the most ive had by a country mile.
A lot of players with good ears love Johns pickup's... Kirk fletcher, Mike Landau and Guthrie Govan who's guitar i am trying get close too all love them.
They do seem to have there own sound, they seem to have a bounce or spring to them? I dont know if that is down to the guitar set up or not but I'm loving what I'm hearing from them guitars.
