      That was coil hight (.252"). I read .257" for the center post on the screw and .259" on the slug.

        Hello,
        after reading all those post I wonder wich effect on the tone will happen wehn routing the centershaft of a bobbin and chance the coil dimension ?

            Heh. I tried that once. If you have a decent setup I suppose you could do it. I made an awful mess of a couple of bobbins. I know some folks here have split them to add spacers to make taller bobbins, etc.
