    rewinding a rhythm chief

    the coil is shorting out. I popped the cover and it looks like the thin plastic bobbin is glued to the case. oh joy. I'm thinking of gently heating up the back of the metal case with an iron. hopefully loosen the glue. Anyone have experience with these bad boys? Looks like they get wound to 15k ohms or so. that must be at least 44 awg i figure. talk about shoehorning!
