I'm on it, to sweeten the neck pup in a strat set of Texas style pups but winding it using my cnc winder but keep the 6.2k
tpl, tension, all that stuff
So I wound 3 different neck pups this evening ,different tpl ,slight difference in tension but all 3 with 8400 turns .I should use my lcr meter to see any differences .............

Copper, have you tried 200tpl. That's my fav but I only put 7700of PE with that for the neck of a strat. CNC, oohh, lucky bastard.

That's the recipe for The late 60's & I got that down to some of the nicest /cleanest strat pups I had ever wound ,but Im staying with the 6.2k/8400 & Using as set of texas specials as the guideline
& with that 200/or 220 they sound too dark

Oh geez, I meant to say HV not PE. So would you let us know with the 8400 turns what your tpl is on that one?

Using HF & 8400 turns puts into specs with a 62' set of strat pups .nice tone from them

Copper, you realize not disclosing your TPL will ensure you are kicked off the round table.

If you run 6200 ohms through the Coil Estimator, that is about what it says also with HV.

No.... but I made about 50 blades just in case the take off like wildfire .....haha
& just been too busy with renovation's & filling orders
