Magnet orientation with 3 magnet humbuckers

As per above image some pickups have 3 magnets. I am wondering what magnetic orientation should the side magnets have in relation to the center magnet.

Outer or side magnets are reversed wrt the center magnet, so you have like poles facing the polepieces.
Results in N/S - S/N - N/S.

I want to add that both M6/M7 and Black Heaven bridge pickups on the picture use only one large ceramic magnet.

To say it in other words: as shown, left slug must "see/touch" only S surfaces, right one the opposite.
