Hey folks,
Some helpful information on replacement pots that might save you time when replacing pots w/brass shafts for the BV60 & BV120. It may be applicable to other BV models, I just didn't check.
I could not find the correct taper for some of them, but I made notes in those cases.
I just copy/pasted from my Symptom/Remedy book:
P-8: Bass A250K (CE $3.95 #R-VPV-250KA) $4.00c
P-7: Mid A50K (Need to use a B50K CE# R-VPV-50KL-R $4.00c) . Wrong taper: Doesn't behave the same, but works fine.
P-6: Treble B250K use CE Dist: $3.95 #R-VPV-250KA $4.00c Wrong taper: Doesn't behave the same, but works fine.
P-1: Level pot chnl 1: B1M. Used A1M. CE Dist: R-VPV-1MA-SPD $4.00. Most of action at higher end of pot, but does work. Could not obtain 'B' taper.
